Dawnstar Love

Since the beginning, I have loved Dawnstar.

Not only did she have something that was

physically unique from other Legionnaires,

but she was a loner and hard-hearted,

which I could relate to.

She's so noble and beautiful, proud

and defiant, and though she has softened

some in recent times, I love her

complicated personality...and the always

crazy nature of her star-crossed love.

Tyroc Love

Screw the critics; I love the strength and

security of the character, as well

as the styling '70s inspired disco-pimp

outfit. Recognize!

(What in comics isn't over-the-top

and potentially cartoonish and offensive?!?)

Bronze Gods

Possibly my favorite era of the Legion, due to my age at the time,

the fun and wildness of the art, the dramatic changes, the

costume developments, etc.

After so many years as such staid characters

(despite fantastic stories and art,) this was a time

when everything seemed speeded up, amped up,

more alive.

It was certainly an aspect of why they

became my favorites!
